Doheny Estates This has become one of the hottest areas in the Hollywood Hills for high-profile celebrities because it has everything: privacy, relative quiet, stunning city views and easy access to all the action of Sunset Strip, Beverly Hills, and West Hollywood. There are only five streets in Doheny Estates: Doheny Drive, Robin Drive, Swallow Drive, Nightingale Drive and Marcheeta Place. Three of the five streets that make up Doheny Estates are named after birds, so this area is often included in the broader neighborhood below that contains many streets with bird names, but make no mistake –Doheny Estates is a separate and distinct area above Sunset Strip. The most expensive cost-per-square-foot homes in all Los Angeles can be found in the Doheny Estates area, surpassing property prices even in Beverly Hills and Bel Air. Doheny Estates is made up of mostly stunning contemporary and mid-century modern-style homes.
